Repentance

Repentance is to leave the sins I loved before and show that I in earnest grieve by doing so no more. Tis not enough to say I am sorry and repent. Yet still we go on from day to day just as we always went.

REPENTANCE: a change of opinion regarding a past sinful line of thought and action causing deep sorrow and a change of heart and resolution constraining to an enunciation of sin both in thought and action and to a prosecution of a Holy Life.

To think again, to reconsider and to take up the subject anew. It implies a taking back of what we have done with reference to a certain subject and a corresponding change of mind, purpose and intention.
